The Newborn Experience

My goal is to provide you with a newborn experience that is easy and authentic. Life with a newborn is hard so having your session in the comfort of your own home takes away the pressure of leaving the house. And what could be more authentic than the backdrop of your own home?

My sessions include both very 'lightly posed' individual photos of baby and many photos of the whole family around the house. My aim is to not only capture all the details of your beautiful baby but the essence of your family and tell your story in those first few weeks at home.

Before the shoot I will provide you with a preparation/style guide and I'll always be on hand to answer any queries you might have.

On the day you will access to my small collection of newborn clothes, blankets and wraps. I always allow 2/3 hours for a newborn shoot so we have plenty of time if baby needs some extra love that day. We have plenty of time to stop, settle/feed/change baby. If siblings are involved, snack breaks are also encouraged! I adore capturing the connections within your family, so will always encourage both parents, siblings and pets to be in the frame. Let's use this time to soak up the those snuggly newborn days.
